Freedom Hill Horse Rescue
Some specific benefits of Equine Assisted/Educational Programs:
In this program, we work with participants to address their certain needs by setting up ground activities with our horses. This is an unique approach to growth and learning where people learn about themselves and others while participating in these activities with the horse.
How do horses play a role in our Equine Assisted and Educational Programs?
Horses have a tremendous way in helping individuals through life's obstacles and are amazing teachers. The lessons learned through these activities with the horses can be applied to real life. Participants also learn how to communicate with horses, how to read their body language and practice safe horsemanship, as well as the basics of horse care.
We will continually be offering many new programs. Check back periodically for more information.
Through the Equine Assisted Growth & Learning program, we give our horses jobs to help individuals, children, youth and families with various learning, educational and human development goals such as teamwork, leadership skills, goal setting, bully prevention and intervention, behavioral issues, anger management, conflict resolution, communication, responsibility, self-confidence, relationship challenges, anxiety, depression and much more.
